What does Horizon Europe mean for Wallonia?

The Horizon Europe Framework Programme is the successor to Horizon 2020. It is the new European support programme for research and innovation for the period 2021-2027. In this framework, the Walloon public service co-finances and manages the European partnership programmes for :

- Health and Care Systems Transformation

- High Performance Computing

- Key Digital Technologies

- Clean Energy Transition

- Innovative SMEs.

 

In addition, there are two new Walloon grants "Horizon 2020" and "Seal of excellence" to support research and encourage SMEs to participate in European research funding programmes. The conditions of support are varied and depend on the framework of your project.
